Early puppy training & socialization makes a

Training a puppy is not difficult. They learn very quickly. It only takes a little bit of knowledge and a lot of patience. Remember - always be consistent!

Start training your puppy as early as 7 weeks of age. Training is easy and fun - forming good habits right from the start. Any current or future behavior problems can be detected and corrected immediately before they progress. Socializing your puppy helps them develop a secure and stable personality. It teaches your puppy how to behave in different situations and environments. Socialization helps your puppy become an all around well-adjusted companion. The sooner your puppy learns obedience and good manners - the better! The longer you wait, the more difficult it will become. The precedents you set now will last a lifetime.

Puppy Training
Kindergarten Puppy Training - From 7 Weeks Old
This training programme is excellent for the very young puppy and especially useful to first time puppy owners. Puppy and owner learn good habits from the very start. Any foreseeable behavior problems can be detected and addressed immediately. Typical problems include: chewing, biting, toileting in the house, jumping up, running off, whining and digging.
 
 
Puppy Training
Junior to Senior Puppy Training - From 14 Weeks Old to Maturity
Puppy socialization classes gives your puppy the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of a variety of people and other dogs: male, female, small, large. It is vital that they experience and adjust to new situations and environments. Puppies that are not socialized frequently will grow up to be aggressive and/or excessively fearful adult dogs.

Basic Obedience
Inclusive in all our puppy training classes is how to teach your puppy basic obedience. Using positive reinforcement techniques, the puppy will also learn the basic commands such as sit, down, stay, recall, walking on a lease, place training, crate training and more.
 
 
Puppy Training
Basic Grooming
Inclusive of all puppy training classes, we advise and demonstrate the basics of dog grooming for your specific breed of puppy: bathing, brushing, insecticide treatments, cleaning teeth and ears, clipping nails and grooming equipment.
 
 
Puppy Training
Feeding your Puppy
Inclusive of all puppy training classes, we advise you on your puppies feeding regime: various diets and food types, when and how much to feed and the correct method in which to feed them.
 
  Types of Puppy Training Classes:
  Private In-Home Classes
- For one-on-one personal puppy training in the privacy of your own home.
  Private In-House Classes
- For one-on-one personal puppy training at Pawsability Dog Training Academy.
  Group Classes
- To socialize your puppy with other dogs and introduce them to new environments and experiences.
  Combo Classes
- A combination of the private in-home training and outdoor group training.
  Behavior Problem Solving INCLUSIVE:
We offer this service in conjunction with all of our training programme's but it can also be implemented on a consultation basis.
